Hard Bargains 1777 Project Honors the Appells
The project is planned as a gift from the York County community to honor Jody Appell and the late Louis J. Appell, Jr. He initiated the project and, joined by then-Mayor C. Kim Bracey, provided seed money to develop the concept for an outdoor sculpture which is now in detailed research and design.
